How long have to you been working out at CrossFit 740? About a year, I started last January halfway through bootcamp!
How many days a week do you CrossFit? I try for 5 or 6 depending on the kiddos schedules
What is class do you typically workout at? 6p is my fave but 5p rocks too!
What is your profession? I am a Registered Nurse but switched it up a little and work as an Application Coordinator (healthcare analyst) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital
What do you love most about CrossFit 740? Without a doubt, my people! Everyone is so encouraging, helpful and always give me the extra push to achieve whatever goals I have that day/month or year!
Biggest accomplishment outside of the gym? My family :)
Biggest accomplishment inside the gym? Honestly, just doing it! I would have never thought I would enjoy CrossFit like I do. It’s a great outlet as a busy mom, and it gives me a little time to focus on myself!
Favorite healthy meal? Spaghetti Squash or Taco Salad
Favorite cheat meal? Tacos and queso are life!!
Favorite movement? Any kind of Squats and Deadlift
Least favorite movement? Snatch
What is one goal you would like to accomplish in the next year? Strict pull up!
What would your super power be? To be able to do a pull up :) jkjk… to be able to fly. Columbus traffic is no fun!
If you were trapped on an island what 3 things would you bring with you? Assuming food, water and shelter are provided. Hmm…since its “things” and not people… I would say my phone so I could FaceTime the kiddos and Tyler, sunscreen/bugspray combo and wine :)
What advice would you give someone who is thinking about trying CrossFit 740? JUST DO IT, I promise you will not regret it. Each movement can be scaled to you, despite any restrictions or injury you may have! At least half the class modifies every day! It’s how we all improve :)
